Avocado sits on top of a simple water-filled container. Its design is tailored to hold an avocado pit, which will gradually sprout over the weeks as it comes into contact with water. Once the roots are well developed, simply replant it in soil.
Aroma, on the other hand, is ideal for extending the life of store-bought herbs. By keeping the bottom two centimeters of the pot in contact with water, it prevents the plant from drying out too quickly.
