Arom@home is a hydroponic shelving unit developed by Green Surf to enable restaurant owners to grow and serve extra-fresh vegetables all year round.
iol supported the product’s development from the initial concept stage right through to the creation of prototypes. The design work focused on the product’s aesthetics, the choice of materials and its modular design, with the aim of offering a solution that would blend naturally into a restaurant’s environment.
Beyond its function as a growing system, Arom@home was therefore conceived as a visible piece of equipment capable of taking its place at the heart of the establishment whilst meeting the demands of everyday use.
