iol has already created two floating swimming areas in natural settings: one in Paris in 2017 and one in Geneva in 2025. This year, a new floating swimming area has been created in a town near Lyon, on Lake Hurongues.
Each new project requires careful consideration to adapt the concept to the location and the client’s needs. The structure of this floating swimming area is once again made up of assembled floating cubes, whilst iol has carried out technical, design and functional analysis to adapt the whole structure to the site and ensure an enjoyable experience for its users.
