The Wheeleo project was born from a clear objective: to develop a wheeled quad cane designed to facilitate gait rehabilitation for patients recovering from a stroke.
Observation phases and trials conducted at CHN William Lennox, based on functional prototypes, made it possible to validate the concept and refine its uses.
iol then supported the development of the device with a view to production. The work focused on ergonomics, formal coherence, industrialization, and product viability — transforming an experimental concept into a fully developed and market-ready medical device.
